is a Hawai’i-based conservationist dedicated to native plant restoration & agroecology, blending traditional Hawaiian knowledge with modern science. At Camp Yoshi, he shares the principles of aloha ‘āina, guiding campers to move through Hawai’i’s landscapes with respect and reciprocity.
Gabbi Thomas
herbalist, forager, and outdoor educator who empowers women and Black folks to conquer fear and feel at home in wild places. Her grounded, joyful approach reminds campers that nature isn’t something to endure but something to return to.
Griffin Christensen
is a Portland-based designer and earth worker who brings his background in regenerative materials and product design into the backcountry. At Camp Yoshi, he helps campers understand their gear as a system that transforms comfort, confidence, and connection to place.
